First, go to the campaigns tab from the left navigation menu. Then, select 'New' in the upper right corner to create a new campaign.
Now, you can change the campaign name (one is automated for you with the date and time if you don't want to choose a different name) and choose the platform number you use for the campaign. Finally, make sure to select Ringless Voicemail Campaigns and then create your campaign.
Now, you can follow the steps provided. First, select and upload your voice message from your files. The voice file should be in .wav or .mp3 format and no larger than 2MB.
If the media file is compatible, you will see that the media is attached successfully, and you can proceed to the next step.
Next you add your contacts that you want to receive the message.
Like a text campaign, your contacts database will open, and you can search based on tags or names. Select the contacts you want to upload individually or in groups and add them to your campaign.
*Each contact who receives a voicemail will count as 1 credit. Please ensure you have sufficient credits before sending or scheduling so your campaign can be sent successfully.
Make sure once you add your contacts that the number of contacts you added has all loaded into the campaign before you move on to either sending immediately or scheduling the campaign. If adding a couple hundred contacts or less, it should only take a minute or two. However, if you are adding several hundred or thousands, it could take longer.
Once the number of contacts you selected has loaded completely, you can choose to send immediately or schedule by picking a date and time.
*We recommend sending at a reasonable time during the day for your timezone, nothing too early or too late.
Once you have sent or scheduled your campaign, it should tell you at the top that it was successfully created. Once your campaign has been sent, you should be able to see that it has been delivered to your contacts via the blue check mark shown above.
Tips: Make it personal and fun. The more human-centered you are in your voice message, the better results you will see. Some nonprofits have immense success in sharing a voice message recorded by someone impacted by their cause or by someone well-known in the community and beyond. Ringless Voicemail (RVM) Scheduling Restrictions
We have implemented scheduling restrictions for Ringless Voicemail (RVM) campaigns to ensure compliance with regional regulations and best practices.
Scheduling Window: Campaigns can be scheduled between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM in the recipient’s local time zone.
Restrictions:
Users, therefore, cannot schedule a campaign to start after 8:00 PM.
Scheduled campaigns will not be delivered before 9:30 AM.
