First, navigate to the workflow tab on the left menu. Either click the workflow keyword you want to make edits to or select view on the far right.
Next you'll need to unpublish the workflow.
A warning message will pop up. Click "Yes, I'm sure."
Now your keyword workflow is unpublished and you can make your edits. Remember that prompts are optional, but a final response is required.
To add prompts, click new.
Prompts are preliminary questions/statements sent before your final response. They can help you learn more information about the contacts texting the keywords. And some information can be added into contact fields in the platform like first name, last name, and email. If you would like the platform to update the contact fields, make sure to fill in contact field with what matches the message body of the prompt. Contact fields and parameter names are not required, you are able to fill out only the body if you need. Once you are done creating your prompt, click create prompt.
Tip: If creating and using a thermometer with your keyword workflow, you want to make sure that you have 2 prompts, the first asking for a name and the second the pledge amount. For help on creating a thermometer, see this help document.
Next you'll want to edit your final response. This is the only required part of your keyword workflow and where you'll want to provide the most important information.
Fill out the body with the information you want to provide to your audience.
If you want to include a link (like a donate link, registration link, or just the url to your business) you can just copy and paste a link in the message body. It is not required, but you can use our link tracking feature by including the link in the destination url box. Just make sure that you also add {{destination_url}} to the body as well. If you do this, the platform will track how many times your contacts have clicked the link.
Once you are happy with your final response, click Update Final response.
If you like both your prompt(s) and your final response, click the green publish button to publish your workflow.
Click, Yes Publish.
The keyword has turned blue, now your keyword workflow is published. We recommend testing to make sure any prompt(s) and the final response looks right and any links included are working correctly. To test your keyword workflow, use your phone and text the word you were editing to your platform number.
