How to Use Data Append to Enhance Your Contact List
Data Append is a powerful feature built into the Rally platform that enriches your contact records with additional information—helping you reach more people, personalize your outreach, and increase your campaign ROI.

What Is Data Append?
Data Append is the process of adding missing or supplemental data to your existing contact list. Using secure third-party sources, Rally Corp can automatically append mobile numbers, email addresses, demographic data, and even voter or donor insights depending on your audience.
What Can Be Appended?
Depending on your plan and use case, Rally’s data append feature can enrich your contacts with:
Mobile Numbers – Great for turning email-only lists into SMS-ready ones.
Emails – Helpful when you only have a phone number.
Address & Zip Codes – Useful for geo-targeted campaigns or compliance.
Demographics – Age, gender, and household income for segmentation.
Donor/Voter History – Perfect for nonprofits, campaigns, and advocacy.
Note: Data append accuracy depends on the source list quality and consent practices. Rally supports permission-based messaging.
How Do I Use It?
Here’s how to get started:
Upload Your List
Navigate to the Contacts section and upload a CSV or select an existing segment. You can also add one of our many integrations to bring in data from your CRM or other apps.Request Data Append
Click the “Enrich Contacts” button and select which data types you'd like to append.Review & Confirm
Rally will return the results in a separate tab and will not automatically update your contact records. You can apply these updates later, one field or contact at a time, or by selecting the batch update option.Use Filters for Segmentation

Currently, data is only available in the US, and Rally Corp, along with our data partners, makes it easy for people to opt out and have their data removed.
