Brand consistency (and a note for chapters and affiliates)

Keep your organization name, website, and email consistent so reviewers can verify you, plus the extra rules if you register for chapters or affiliates.

Think of reviewers as digital detectives

10DLC reviewers cross-reference every piece of data you submit, and everything has to align. If your organization is "Riverside Food Bank" but your website is myfundraiser.com and your contact email is a personal Gmail address, a reviewer is going to be suspicious.

A few rules keep your story consistent:

  • Use your organization domain for both your website and your email address.

  • Make sure your website actually works. If a reviewer clicks your link and hits a 404 error, that is an immediate rejection.

  • Keep your organization name, contact details, and description consistent across every touchpoint: your registration, your website, and your messages. If you use a common name and a different legal name, make sure the connection is clear.

The goal is simple. Anyone checking your submission should see the same organization, with the same name and the same details, everywhere they look.

If you register on behalf of chapters or affiliates

If you are a national or parent organization registering campaigns for local chapters or affiliates, a few extra rules apply.

  • The chapter's or affiliate's identity must be front and center in the submission for that campaign, not just the national brand, so reviewers can see who is actually texting supporters.

  • You need to explicitly explain the relationship to your provider, so it is clear you are registering on another entity's behalf.

  • Each chapter or affiliate needs its own separate campaign. You cannot bundle multiple chapters into a single registration.
