How to Create Your Own Forms

Follow the guide below to create your own contact and pop-up forms.

These forms are best used on your website to capture contacts and their consent to receive text messages and/or email from your nonprofit or business. These and other widgets are available only if you are on our Growth Plan. Contact [email protected] if you would like to upgrade.

Step 1: Sign up for free account at Rally.so

Tip: We suggest using the same email you use to log into the Rally Corp Platform.

Step 2: Confirm your free account via your email address.

Step 3: Admin will change account to paid account. If in a rush, email [email protected].

Step 4: Before creating any forms or other widgets, add your platform number or the 24365 shortcode, whichever number you plan to use for your form. While the 24365 shortcode might be preferred for events and using other widgets like the thermometer, for forms we suggest using your designated 10 digit platform number as that will be the number you most often use to communicate with your audience.

Tip: We suggest making sure you have made the appropriate edits/changes to your keyword workflow and publishing it before creating your form. You may consider ONLY adding a final response, as you will be gathering names and other contact information with the form itself. A keyword workflow is required with all widgets as it works hand in hand with the widgets. The final response will act as a welcome message and be sent as soon as an individual completes your form. Step 5: Also add your API token which can be found in your Rally Corp platform account tab.

Tip: Do not share this API Token with anyone else, this is specific to your account.

Step 6: Select Contact Form or Pop-Up Form from left menu and then click the Create button. Add your keyword, the phone number the keyword is on again.

Now begin customizing your form by working through the tabs (General, Header, Goal, Raised, Thank You, & Participants). Don't forget to update your form when you are finished and get the embed code for your website and the share link. You can view your updated form on the right hand side as well as in the share tab.
