How to Create a QR Code with Rally

Create and share QR Codes in Rally.so to drive traffic, trigger workflows, and track results—all from your Short Links.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

QR Codes are a simple way to connect your supporters with your campaign. When scanned, a QR Code can send someone directly to your chosen webpage or even trigger an automated workflow—like sending a text to your organization’s number or a keyword on a shortcode (e.g., Text to Give).

Step 1: Sign in and Select Short Links

  • Log in to your Rally.so account.

  • From the left-hand navigation menu, click Short Links.

  • Choose Create New Short Link (or open an existing one if you’d like to generate a QR Code for it).

Step 2 (Option A): Enter Your Destination

  • In the Destination URL field, paste the link you want people to visit (for example: your donation page, event registration form, or impact story).

  • Select the Domain from the dropdown (e.g., tapgo.now, giv.now, or fundraiser.link).

  • Add a short and memorable Slug (e.g., demo).

  • Your final short link will look like: tapgo.now/demo.

💡 Tip: Add a custom domain to create your own branded links.

Step 2 (Option B): Connect to a Workflow

  • Select a platform number in the dropdown and your assigned keyword.

  • Example: When scanned, the QR Code can launch a text message to your number (e.g., “DEMO to 24365”).

Step 3: Get Your Code

  • Navigate to the QR Code tab in the Short Link settings.

  • Rally.so will automatically generate a QR Code for your short link.

  • Download the QR Code image to use on flyers, posters, presentations, or digital campaigns.

Step 4: Share Your QR Code & Short Link

  • Place your QR Code on printed materials, social media graphics, slides, or anywhere your audience can easily scan.

  • Each scan will be tracked in Rally.so so you can measure results
